Tong Park Hotel, Tong (West Yorkshire)

I recently stayed at this hotel for a special occasion, and overall, it was a good experience with some high points and a couple of letdowns. The breakfast was delightful and set a positive tone for our stay, and the staff were genuinely attentive. However, the ongoing renovations detracted from the overall impression, and it would have been ideal to have been informed about them in advance. The location offers a serene atmosphere, making it a nice getaway.

My experience at the hotel was mixed. While the staff was friendly and accommodating, I encountered numerous issues that made my stay less enjoyable. The noise from events and the state of the room left much to be desired, especially considering the price. However, the breakfast options were decent, which was a brief highlight during my visit.

Our stay was quite disheartening, mainly due to ongoing refurbishment issues that were not disclosed beforehand. The room left a lot to be desired with its outdated decor and poor insulation against noise, making it hard to enjoy our stay. On a positive note, the staff at least seemed friendly despite the chaos, but overall, it was not the restful weekend we hoped for.

The hotel has a lovely exterior and is appealing at first glance; however, it feels outdated inside and lacks proper upkeep. The staff members are generally friendly, but the dining experience left much to be desired with poor quality food. The location is decent for access to local attractions, but there are several areas that require improvement to elevate the overall experience.

The hotel has some potential with a lovely exterior and a hard-working staff, but sadly, the interior left much to be desired. While the service was exceptional, the dated rooms and lackluster breakfast detracted from an overall pleasant experience. Until the renovations are fully completed, I can't say I’d recommend staying here for a premium experience.
