I recently stayed at this hotel for a special occasion, and overall, it was a good experience with some high points and a couple of letdowns. The breakfast was delightful and set a positive tone for our stay, and the staff were genuinely attentive. However, the ongoing renovations detracted from the overall impression, and it would have been ideal to have been informed about them in advance. The location offers a serene atmosphere, making it a nice getaway.
